Who you'd be dealing with

Practical experience. Personal accountability.

I build AI systems and automation for businesses in the US and UK: connecting tools, simplifying recurring tasks and improving how work moves through a team. I earned the Norwegian plumbing certification, the svennebrev, and spent five years on the tools. I know what a call-out is worth, what it's like to watch the phone ring with both hands inside a wall, and how much of an owner's week disappears into work nobody pays for. That knowledge doesn't come from a market research deck. It comes from the van.

Then I learned to build software, and the two things collided: every AI company on earth was suddenly selling to tradespeople, and almost none of them had ever met one. Tools got bought and abandoned. Owners got burned and went back to voicemail. The gap wasn't technology. It was that nobody translating between the two worlds had lived in both.

So that's the job now: I find where businesses leak money and time, and I fix it with the cheapest thing that works, which is sometimes AI, sometimes a checklist, and sometimes deleting a task nobody needed. I wrote the argument for caring about response time in VVS Aktuelt under my own byline, Ivar André Knutsen, plumber, and I built a working AI phone system for a real plumbing company, with the script written from real call transcripts. Right now I'm building four workflow automations for a powerbank rental company, because the leak is the same: a week going into copy-paste.

How I work
  • Done-for-you, always

You will never be handed a dashboard and a login and wished good luck. I build it, run it, and answer for it.

  • Honest before impressive

No invented statistics, no borrowed logos, no testimonials that weren't said. Every logo on this site is a business I've actually worked with, and every number next to a client is one that client said first.

  • The cheapest fix wins

I recommend against buying AI more often than you'd expect. That's what being paid for the diagnosis instead of the product buys you.

  • One person, on purpose

You deal with me, the same person who diagnosed, built, and carries the phone. Handover terms are in every agreement, so you're never trapped.

Single automations are quoted on the call: a setup fee plus a monthly retainer to run them. Full systems start at $4,500, fixed scope, fixed price. · $10,000 documented or every dollar back

Eleven years, six frames.

From the first day on the tools to the first shipped AI system. The order is the point.

And I teach, too.

By day I teach entrepreneurship for Ungt Entreprenørskap, Norway's member of JA Worldwide, in schools across Vestfold and Telemark. Before that I produced for NRK and ran a film agency; the logos from those years sit on the work page, labelled as what they were. I run practical AI workshops for trade companies and business networks: what to automate, what to leave alone, and how to tell the difference.
