One person.
From first call to running system.

You talk to me. I scope it, build it and stay responsible for how it runs.

  1. 01

    Talk it through

A free 30-minute call about your business and what you want to improve. A clear recommendation and a written recap.

  2. 02

    Agree on the scope

You get the plan, timeline and price in writing. One small automation or a broader system, with clear expectations.

  3. 03

    Build and test

I build it around your tools, test it against real examples and keep you involved before anything goes live.

  4. 04

    Keep it working

Monitoring, maintenance and support after launch. We can improve and expand it as your business needs change.

Setup, onceA setup fee, quoted on the call. Example scope: one digest, one filing automation, one chatbot trained on your pages. From $4,500, fixed scope, in writing. What moves it up: integrations, a second handoff path, more than one number.
Running, monthly, requiredA smaller retainer: running it, and fixing it when a supplier changes something. The phone line, the minutes and my monitoring, typically several hundred dollars a month at single-shop volumes. Exact figure in the quote.
OptionalFractional AI Partner: ongoing improvement, the next leak found before it costs you, by application. The Profit Leak Report: the deep, documented diagnosis, $1,500, credited in full toward a build within 60 days. Nobody has to buy it to discuss an obvious build.

Who you'd be dealing with

Practical experience. Personal accountability.

Ivar André Knutsen. I build practical systems around the way your business works. The person on the call is the one who builds it and supports it. I’ve also written about response time and customer communication in VVS Aktuelt.

One plumbing company signed for the AI receptionist; it goes live in October 2026 and the first 30 days get published on this site. Five workflow automations completed for Chimpy, a powerbank rental company, with a 5.0/5 client review.

A few questions before we talk.

Is the call really free?

Yes. Thirty minutes, no invoice, no sequence you didn't ask for. Within one working day you get a short written recap: what we found, what I'd do first, what's still unknown, and which route I recommend: an audit, a build, or nothing. If the answer is a build, I send a fixed-price proposal. If it's an audit, I explain what the Report covers. If it's nothing, the recap is the whole deliverable.

What kinds of businesses do you work with?

I work across industries. The starting point is a task and an outcome: handling orders, coordinating a project, preparing reports, responding to requests or connecting tools. We check your process and software before choosing a build.

I just want a chatbot, or one small automation. Is that too small?

No. If a chatbot is the right fix, I build it, train it on your pages and your answers, connect it to your inbox or calendar, and run it for a monthly retainer with a setup fee. Same for a digest, a filing automation or a follow-up sequence. If the right answer is an off-the-shelf tool you can set up in an afternoon, I say that on the call instead.

What does it cost?

Three separate things. Setup: single automations and chatbots are quoted as a setup fee; full systems start at $4,500, fixed scope, quoted before I start. Running: every system carries a monthly fee for the line, the minutes and my monitoring, or a smaller retainer for a single automation. Optional: Fractional AI Partner, an ongoing retainer, by application. If you want the full itemized diagnosis first, The Profit Leak Report is $1,500 and is credited toward a build within 60 days.

What happens when the AI goes down at 9pm on a Saturday?

Every build ships with a fallback route: if the system can't take a call, the call goes to your existing voicemail or answering service instead of dead air. It's part of the acceptance test before go-live, not a promise in a paragraph. I watch alerts from 06:00 to 23:00 Central European Time. That covers midnight to 5pm on the US East Coast and 5am to 10pm in the UK. Outside those hours the fallback route takes the call and I fix it before your morning.

How do you decide what should be automated?

We look at the task, how often it happens, the tools involved and where judgment matters. The goal might be faster reporting, clearer handoffs, better customer responses or less repetitive work. I recommend a useful next step and explain what still needs a person.

What could work better
in your business?

Bring an idea, a bottleneck or a question. We’ll look at it together and find a useful next step.
